The Eurasian File which is a publication of the Center for Eurasian Strategic Studies (ASAM) is a national and refereed journal.

The journal which is published biannually as hardcopy is also available as full text through the website to facilitate access to those interested.

The purpose of the Eurasian File is to form an academic discussion ground by conducting theoretical and empirical research in the fields of politics, economics, political history and international law within the broad context of international relations and strategic research. This periodical also follows a publication policy aimed at suggesting, at geopolitic and geostrategic level, strategic alternatives for future perspectives that can be useful for Turkey to implement policies with an international security and cooperation dimension.

The Eurasian File, with its Turkish foreign policy, international relations and regional development focus in its publications pays special attention to constructing inter-disciplinary connections and developing a critical approach to issues. It contains original, scientific, critical, and analytical contemporary and historical research and investigations which have not been formerly published.

The journal, in accordance with and within the framework of the above-mentioned goals conducts a “file” study in connection with subjects enunciated in advance. The journal also reserves a space for articles which may not be directly related to the subject of the file (considering that the total page number of these articles does not exceed 1/3rd of the total page number of the file). Book reviews which may be prepared in the format of an article need to be submitted to ASAM in advance to give enough time for the editor to examine the book.
